Tuesday
After district meeting we went and got pizza, which was good. They had a two for one deal so it was affordable. Later we had a great lesson on the plan of salvation.
Wednesday
We had a great lesson with Michael. We started teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ with him and had a great lesson on faith and repentance. He is really progressing, hopefully we will interview him for baptism soon. We then went and saw Godwin and had a quick lesson, but still a great lesson. We started teaching about the plan of salvation.
Thursday
Today one year ago I arrived in Ghana, and what an experience it has been! I can’t wait to see what is still in store for me to find. We went to see Martha and Patience and tried to teach, but we left because of to many distractions and customers. So, we went to see Bismark and learned with him about the law of chastity. In the evening, we had a great lesson with Mavis and went over the baptismal interview questions. She is so smart she knows the gospel so well.
Friday
Today started off visiting a member that we felt was having a hard time. We shared a wonderful message on Christ that I believe she really needed. We then taught some other lessons. In the evening, we got to watch the longest lunar eclipse of the century, which was really cool.
Saturday
Well we had some great lessons planned but half of them fell through, so we went contacting. This next week there are some cool people I can’t wait to see.
Sunday
Church was great today. After we went and taught William. To start the lesson off, he asked a golden question. Why are there so many different Christian churches, and why don’t they teach the same thing? He found the church about two weeks ago. He felt like asking someone what church they went to and followed them to our church.
