Week 42

Hello everyone,

Tuesday
We had district meeting and then had interviews with President Keyes which took longer than expected. Afterwards we went to meet with our ward mission leader. We finally got our water pump fixed, but somehow it went out again, so they will fix it tomorrow.

Wednesday
We had a very solid day! We started off with visiting Grandpa who is great as always. Then we went to see George. George is a new guy that we are teaching. He works at a shop we sometimes go to and he loves the bible. He love learning new things about Christ and that he came to the Americas. Our water pump is finally fixed YAY!

Thursday
Today the Zone Leaders asked us to come and help them with service. We were to build a cooking area covering for one of their members. It was fun trying to use rock hard wood and old nails. It ended up not being complete because the nails wouldn't stay in. We got to play some fun games with the children. After wards we were in our area going to a lesson and we ran in to Benjamin which was a surprise, we thought he was dead or gone.

Friday
We meet with our ward mission leader, then we continued to teach George which was great! Then we went to work with a less active member who has started to come back to church. We are working hard with him. In the evening, we meet at the Ampows which was fun as usual.

Saturday
We ran out of water, but we were able to get it filled quickly. Today we tried to meet with Joseph but he wasn't available. In the evening we went and met with a member because we are trying to work with and meet all the members in the ward.

Sunday
Today I gave a talk on the book of Mormon in church. I spoke about what my life would be like without the Book of Mormon. I really enjoyed preparing for this talk because it helped me see how important this book of scripture is in my life.
