Week 43

Hello everyone,
Wow! Where did April go?

Tuesday
Today in district council we talked about how we should raise our goals. So, we are trying to work harder, putting more in to hopefully get more out of it. Afterwards we did service.  We were asked to tear down a wall (well part of the wall) so we did, which was really fun. We then went and taught Lawrence and extended a baptism date invitation as a goal for him to work towards. He said he would pray about it, so we are hopeful. After we visited Benjamin, and well, we had to mess with him a little. So we switched our name tags a couple of times which was fun.

Wednesday
We started off with stopping by grandpa Vanderpalls. Then we went to teach Richard, but as usual he wasn't free. Then we taught George and gave him a Book of Mormon and had a really good lesson. Then we followed up with last week’s contacts.

Thursday
Today we had some people try to bible bash with us, but we didn't want to so we just left. We contacted Sampson, who we taught and he is very interested. Something that happens a lot to us is that random people will stop us and ask what we are doing. They then thank us for the work we do but they won’t listen to our message, but it is still cool.  In the evening we got to help give some service to a member which is always fun.

Friday
Today we meet with our ward mission leader. Then we went to see George and learned about the Book of Mormon with him. We then did some contacting and later in the evening we visited the Ampows.

Saturday
We went out to Dodwa for my comp to interview some baptismal candidates which took up all day.

Sunday
Today we had 8 investigators at sacrament meeting which was sweet.

This week in one of our meals we were given, there was some goat meat that didn't have the hair taken off before it was cooked…. so it was interesting.

Love,
Elder Marcusen
