These last two week have been great! Last week we had zone conference which was fun. We even got mashed potatoes. I did an exchange in one of the areas of our zone, but for the best week was this week, as we worked a lot.
Monday we had a zone activity of grilling hamburgers and cooking french fries and enjoying Christmas Eve.
Tuesday, CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed Skyping home and getting pizza hut for dinner (doesn’t taste the exact same as back home, but it was still great) well that took up most of the day.
Wednesday, was devoted to visiting members and trying to get referrals in which we were a little successful. Also we were eating food meant for five people but it is only me and my companion.
Thursday, as zone leaders we have to go on exchange with the trainees and trainers after the first 3 weeks. I went with Elder Abram and had a great day working in his area and hypnotizing chickens when contacting/teaching.
Friday, we went with a member to teach a referral and well this referral didn’t really want to learn. He just wanted to talk to the female member that came with us. He was like, I don’t understand any scripture, so explain all to me. It was a simple scripture so probably not going back to him.
Saturday, we had a baptism, Joshua. He’s the one that I was like let’s use a video to teach. Everything has clicked for him and he was baptized.
