Week 30

Hello Everyone,

Tuesday
Well, after district meeting, everyone fell through. In the evening we got to meet with Christabell who I love to teach, and have the patience to teach. I got to teach my favorite lesson, the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Wednesday
Today we started by visiting Joseph. We taught our final lesson before his baptism, but because of a funeral, we are moving it back a week. Afterwards we met with a guy named Foster who says he is searching for the true church. He is fun to teach although his reasoning is not always there, it’s still fun.

Thursday
Just a normal day searching and teaching in Ghana. On the bright side we found where a member lived which is hard to do. There are no addresses and to give a location it usually involves a palm tree or something that may or may not be there.

Friday
There is a drunk guy who likes us. So today, we taught him repentance by relating it to a 5k and drawing it in the dirt, and each k is a different step. It was fun because he was a little drunk, but if somehow we get him to church, it is going to blow my mind. Then in the evening, we finished teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to Christabell, now just the commandments before her baptism next week.

Saturday
We had a sweet lesson with Grandpa Rodgers (pic below) who is so fun to teach and learn with.

Sunday
Well we had some random guy show up to church. In investigators class he tried arguing that Christ did not set up the atonement and die for all of us. He used scriptures that had nothing to do with it so we gave him one scripture and then he quieted down. He lives in the other ward so we handed him over to the other missionaries. Our small chapel is now the stake center.

Today when we went to Accra. At the temple they are getting ready to replace the angel Moroni with a new one, which was cool to see.

Love,
Elder Marcusen
