Week 62

Hello everyone!

So, Monday evening we got to have FHE and afterwards for dinner it was basically French fries with salsa. Sadly I didn’t take a pic, but the plate was a mountain of the wedges. It was great and the FHE was good also.

Tuesday  after district meeting we taught Progress and his friend joined in which was cool. Afterwards we taught Michael (a different one then the one that was just baptized).  This Michael also speaks French so I will refer to him as French Michael. He is great  and loves learning with us. After Michael, we taught Janet and Golden, and while we were teaching, there grandma came and told them to really listen. It was cool because this grandma isn't a member.

Wednesday we got to see Godwin, and well he is doing the best he can with his situation. We shared a message to give him spiritual strength. After, we were waiting for an opening to cross the street and we here “hey guys” and we turn around and there is a white guy and his friend who is a Ghanaian. They are visiting from Germany and they were totally interested in why we were here and what our message is. In the evening, my companion taught piano lessons to some of the ward members.

Thursday we had a lesson with Della, and well, he just fired away with questions and we answered them all. By the end he said that he will read and search for the truth. His friend also sat in the lesson. They wanted to say the prayer to finish the lesson, even though she slept for most of it.  In the prayer, she was like,  “thank you for sending these hot hot hot guys!”. Well, Della and my comp couldn't hold in thier laughing. After we taught Janet and Golden again and it was great. In the evening we were also able to teach Comfort.

Friday we started off by teaching French Michael. He is just taking it all in and learning so well. We then taught Golden and Janet and finished the message of the restoration. Then we taught Michael the recent convert. When we first contacted him he was homeless and jobless with no money.  After his baptism his life has just turned around. He is getting a job and an apartment and his family is helping him with money. He is so happy now and always has a smile on his face.

Saturday we taught one of our new contacts from this week. He is so cool, he love to learn. So we are excited to teach him and he is excited to learn.

Sunday we had to leave church early to go and do baptismal interviews in one of the other wards which was fun. Also, had to use an interpreter to do it.

HOPE you all have a great week!!
