Week 48

Hello everyone,

Tuesday
We had district meeting at our apartment. Afterwards we went to teach Bridget, but she wasn't free. We then fixed our bikes, but shortly after my companion’s bike fell apart.  So that was fun.

Wednesday
So we are trying to meet new people, and well, they like to avoid us. Feels like when we call to set up meetings it’s like telling them when to not be at the house. That’s part of the work though.

Thursday
We went to a guy to have my companions’ shoes fixed and ended up teaching him. I also clarified some things about America. Things like we don’t get a house and a wife from the government when we turn 18. There is no amazing Fridays where the government gives you money to go have fun. We then taught Ahmed, who is our best investigator right now.

Friday
Well everything fell through, so we just contacted all day. Even then, people didn't want to talk to us but we made the best of it.

Saturday 
We taught Mavis, who we contacted earlier this week. Who hopefully is going to stay interested in our message. Then we taught Hannah again and in the evening we went to Lydia’s.

Sunday
It was a great fast Sunday. After my companion cooked his dinner, I went to cook, and well the gas was out and we ran out of water. So yay for being hungry.
