Merry Christmas,
Tuesday
We had district council and then we had to travel to Accra so that one of my companions could get his non-citizen card. That took all day because on the way back the traffic was bad and the office was like the DMV.
Wednesday
We had some lessons which were good but everyone seems to be hiding from us this week. We had mid-week, which was amazing. We talked about light the world. If you haven’t heard about it go check it out at https://www.mormon.org. It is a great way to remember Christ this Christmas season.
Thursday
We traveled to Accra to plan the activities for the next zone conference, which was fun and it looks like it’s going to be a blast.
Friday
So the sisters were saying that they wanted all of the Zone to come and go proselyting in their area. It was actually really fun. We found a lot of new investigators for them, but the best was, when we were getting water we saw some root beer. It is impossible to find, so we made some root beer floats.
Saturday
We had choir practice. I just love how the music brings the Christmas spirit. After choir it rained all day and soaked us as we biked and walked to lessons.
Sunday
President and Sister Keyes came to our branch today. Yesterday’s rain was the last until February or March, and the dust from the Sahara Desert is now in the air. It looks like fog and also looks like there are thin clouds in front of the sun. In the evening we had our second to last choir performance and this probably was our best one yet.
Love,
Elder Marcusen
