Hello everyone,
Tuesday
We had a lot of lessons but this morning. In district counsel we had Elder and Sister jones come and visit. They are awesome, but it’s sad so see them go. They are returning home in the beginning of December
Wednesday
Pday because president came on Monday
Thursday
We had a wonderful choir practice. However, the rest of the day, I was at the mission home because the companion that I was on splits with had to renew his non-citizen id card.
Friday
We started off by visiting Aby, and in the middle of our lesson we had a member pass by and he just came up a bore his testimony of the gospel which was incredible! Then we had a lesson/ answering question with someone who used to learn with missionaries We go asked some weird questions like, “if I come to church will you put me in a small closet/room”, or “will I get possessed if I learn with you”. We still joke about it between our selves.
Saturday
We were traveling to choir practice and I got a feeling to move over two seats so that there were two open seats in between us. Not long after, a man gets on the trotro and sits in between us. When it came time to pay, he pays for us, so then we start talking with him. He told us that the Spirit told him to sit next to us and it also told him that we were men called of God and that he should pay for us. It turned in to a great lesson in the back of a trotro. We gave him our contact info and hopefully we will hear from him. After choir, as a little thanksgiving, I got some KFC fries and an Oreo shake.
Sunday
In the afternoon we had our first choir performance in Tema, which was amazing! We had so many people show up to it, members and nonmembers. Afterwards we watched the face to face event with Elder Oaks and Elder Ballard, which I would encourage all to watch it you have not yet.
Love,
Elder Marcusen
