Dear Elder Marcusen:
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You are assigned to Labor in the Botswana/Namibia Mission. In addition to your calling to share the gospel, you will be assigned to serve in the South Africa Mission Region. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 24 months.
You should report to the South Africa Missionary Training Center on Thursday, July 6, 2017. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the English language.
I am so excited to be called to serve in Africa!! I know this is where the Lord wants me to serve.
Congrats Elder! My son was just called to the same mission and will be reporting to the MTC in South Africa Nov 9th. I am sure you will meet each other. I will be stalking your blog!

ReplyDeleteWhoops, now I see you headed for Ghana instead of B-N. Guess we'll just be neighbors, like Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof: Ghana (Chicago, America) and Botswana (New York, America). May the Spirit bless your efforts.
